Alison
Alison
Alison is a certified ACE International trainer, with interests in sports conditioning and weight loss. She has worked in the fitness industry for over three years and is a former competitive figure skater. She has additionally been involved with soccer, ballet, yoga and pilates. She is passionate about educating herself with scientifically backed training methods, while keeping on top of the latest trends. She incorporates functional training with a focus on proper form, and a balance between hard work and required rest. She believes nutrition should be focused on eating whole foods in appropriate portions, at regular intervals.
After an injury ended her skating career at seventeen, Alison fell into a more sedentary lifestyle coupled with uninformed bad eating habits - leading to a forty pound weight gain. She applies these experiences to her training, relating to those training as an athlete and those struggling with negative self-image and weight loss.
Alison believes it is important to consistently challenge yourself. She encourages clients to try new things, step out of their comfort zone and allow themselves to be surprised by what they can accomplish. Reaching your goals is achieved by hard work, commitment and positivity. Alison believes in tough love, so you are guaranteed to be challenged in your workout, but it will always be done with a smile.

Scott Harris
Scott
Scott began working in the health and wellness industry 5 years ago after watching his mother battle cancer. It was this experience that drove him to become both a certified massage practitioner as well as personal trainer. Whether you are a beginner who has never picked up a weight, an athlete looking to find that extra edge, or someone looking to mix things up, Scott believes a good training session should always be challenging and fun. Scott is also certified in the strength and conditioning of combat athletes. Here he strives to improve the strength, power, and explosiveness of each fighter as well as ensure a proper periodized program to avoid overtraining/injuries. The foundation of all Scott’s training revolves around the development of a strong core as well as incorporating muscle confusion to avoid hitting those dreaded plateaus. Having worked closely with injury related issues, Scott strives to bring a strong mind muscle connection to every working set, ensuring that good form is never sacrificed.

Romeo
I've been successful in the industry of fitness for over 10 years. In that 10 years I have developed a training background in weight loss, rehab, sports specific training, and I am also a boot camp instructor.
One of my best attributes is my enthusiasm and energy to motivate clients to achieve their goals. Everyone loves the idea of being fit but, alot of times it's a lot of hard work and determination. As a personal trainer this would be my goal to help people achieve that goal of being fit.

As a Personal Trainer, I encourage my clients to see beyond their goals and challenge themselves to achieve results they didn’t think were possible. I believe the key to this success is to build a solid foundation in the beginning and combine that with a healthy lifestyle.
“Accept no way as the way. Accept no limitation as limitation.” – Bruce Lee
Physical fitness has always been an important part of my life. I have played competitive hockey from a young age, mentored and coach other young players, coached a novice women’s hockey team and spend the winter helping a women’s softball team get in shape for the spring season. I have an interest in working with clients who want to lose weight or are looking to jumpstart their fitness program. I have a strong background in nutrition and healthy eating, having been a chef at some of Vancouver’s top restaurants for the past 12 years, and I am excited to apply that to the fitness industry.
